Social Media Coordinator
Role Description

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator that will create content by collaborating with our multidisciplinary internal and external marketing team. The successful candidate is someone who feels a deep sense of connection and alignment with our core values and purpose. They are highly creative, have a thirst for learning, and are ready to grow in a fast-moving and socially progressive e-commerce environment.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working collaboratively with other senior leaders, the Social Media Coordinator’s primary responsibilities lie in content creation and social media management.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the marketing team to create a social marketing plan.
  • Grow our audiences across our social media accounts.
  • Be the expert on social media best practices across strategic channels, identify new opportunities, and advise executives on their social content.
  • Analyze our social media accounts and formulate ways to improve our presence.
  • Condense our research and work into succinct, easy to understand the content.

Minimum Qualifications

  • One to two years of experience managing brand voice and presence across multiple social media platforms.
  • Experience using social media management software (eg: Loomly), and familiarity with Google Analytics for both managing and measuring performance.
  • Strong writing and editing skills to ensure social copy reflects our core values.
  • Higher Education experience preferred.
  • Experience with advanced graphic design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva is an asset.
