Employers are required to deduct certain amounts from payroll of their employees under certain heads for subsequent transfer to Government of Canada. The main objective of this course is to provide basic understanding of Canadian payroll and taxation system. When a student is at the workplace, he could be a competent person with required knowledge and skills to perform these chores. Course will provide an overview of the requirements for processing payroll calculation and administrating the payroll to employees, government agencies and other parties in compliance with Canadian laws, regulations, and contractual arrangements. This course will also teach students how to prepare Tax Return for Individuals and Corporations. They will also learn how to deal with GST/HST or PST.
